Mākua Beach Double-Date Photoshoot
When Layla reached out to us about visiting and setting up a double-date couple session, we were SO STOKED. Dallas played volleyball with Layla and Alan when we lived in Virginia, so we were very excited to see old friends and capture their time visiting. It was even better when they said they wanted to get their photos taken with their best friends (Steph and Eric)!
They were so flexible and willing to drive out to Waianae, Mākua specifically, to get their photos done. It means a lot when our clients trust us enough to make the drive. The sunsets out here are just SOOO magical and you will see what we are talking about with these images.
We had never shot 2 couples in the same session before, but it worked SO well with our hour long session. Steph and Eric were hyping up Alan and Layla when they were getting their photos taken and vice versa. We gave them all kinds of fun prompts and just let them be themselves. Eric and Alan kept us laughing the whole time and had such great attitudes about getting their photos taken!
There are so many authentic, emotion-filled moments in their galleries and it makes our hearts explode. <— That is the purpose of what we do: to capture real moments and memories in beautiful light. We are sincere when we say that photos are the BEST souvenirs, and their session proves that statement. If you are visiting Oahu or any of the Hawaiian islands, getting your photos taken is 100% worth it. For a lot of people, visiting the islands is a “once in a lifetime” kind of trip, understandably, (ITS EXPENSIVE). Having the joy, aloha, and beauty from your trip captured with photos is an amazing way to preserve your memories for a lifetime.
