All of our drone photography is captured by Dallas, who has a Remote Pilot Certification (RPC) under the FAA’s Small Unmanned Aircraft Rule (Part 107). Due to state or FAA regulations, there are some locations on O’ahu that we cannot take drone portraits, but there are many locations that we can. If you are interested in this package, please let us know on our contact form and we will be sure to share which locations we offer for this package.

The O’ahu packages are ideal for someone who wants their photos to be taken on the North, South, or East shores. This could be if you are visiting O’ahu, staying on the south shore in Waikiki, and not willing or able to drive very far. This could also be for someone who is staying/living on the North or East Shores. If you are staying in Waikiki or living on another part of the island, but are willing to drive to Wai’anae (the west side of the island), the West Side Packages may be better for you. Please see the map to the right for more of an understanding of locations. If you are unsure of which one you should choose, please reach out. We would love to help you!

We are devoted to making your photo experience, just that, fun. We are not the stand still, hold your breath, tilt your chin, and “SAY CHEESE!” kind of photographers. We get to know you and set the stage in hopes that you feel comfortable right from the start of your session. Emotion-filled photos come from real moments. Real moments happen when you can be your real self. So, we give you prompts and guided poses, we catch the in between, and go with the flow to create those real moments and photograph real memories.
Before Booking
-Inquire about your session on our website.
-We will chat via email within 24 hours of your inquiry and discuss your vision.
-We will finalize your date + location and send over your proposal (contract + invoice). We do require a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract to officially book your date.
After Booking
-Once you are booked, we will assist you in all of the planning. You will receive our Outfit Guide for guidance on what to wear and a questionnaire for you to complete. During this time, we encourage you to email us with all of your questions and concerns about your session. We want to make sure that you show up to your session at ease and excited!
-A week out from your session, we will email you with day of details (time, place, parking, etc.) for your session.
-If there are any weather concerns, we will contact you the day before your session and the day of to make any changes that are needed. During the winter months, we like to schedule and hold 2 dates on the calendar for your session. This ensures a back up plan incase we are rained out.
-We will meet for your session and guide you through every pose.
-We will send over a Sneak Peek Gallery within 48 hours of your session.
-We will send over a Final Gallery 3 weeks from your session date.
Things To Expect From Us
- A 24 hour response time to your inquiry submitted on our contact form or via email.
-A simple, timely, completely digital booking process.
-Prompted and guided posing during your session. We know that posing in front of strangers can be nerve-wracking, but we promise to encourage you and help you every step of the way!
-Two photographers at your session. We (Megan and Dallas) will both be at your session capturing the memories being made.
- A TON OF FUN! A priority for all HC sessions is that you are enjoying yourselves and connecting with your person/people.
Frequently Asked Questions
What time do your sessions normally take place?
For the perfect lighting conditions, we always shoot within 1 hour of sunset or sunrise.
How are my photos delivered?
We use an awesome online gallery system to deliver high resolution digital images. Every client receives a custom gallery link where you can download all of your images and share the link with family and friends!
How you do handle payments?
All payments are handled digitally. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold your session date and confirm your booking. The remaining amount is due one week prior to your session.
Where do sessions take place?
Our sessions take place at various locations. For our West Side Mini and West Side Full sessions, they will take place on the breathtaking beaches of Wai’anae. If you choose the O’ahu Full, your session will take place at a location outside of Wai’anae. Not everyone is familiar with, capable of, or interested in coming out to Wai’anae, and we totally understand that. We have created a location guide with our favorite locations across the island (East side, North side, and South side locations). Before booking, you will be able to choose the location that works best for you.
Will you pose us?
Absolutely! We will guide you every step of the session. We will give you poses and then prompt you from those poses to result in real emotions. We will have fun…we promise!
Do we order prints through you too?
You absolutely can, but you do not have to. When you receive your final gallery from us, you will be given the option to order your prints through your gallery at any time! You can download and order all in one place.
If we like more than our 30 or 60 photos can we buy the rest?
In our contracts and the pricing information above, we give a minimum amount of photos that we will deliver. However, we deliver all of the BEST photos. We go through all of your raw images, and every photo that is in good condition (unless it is a repeat) will be edited and included in your gallery. You do not need to purchase any extra photos because they already come with your gallery as part of our services.
